The unit may only be used in conjunction with the CAD/CAM system of
Dentsply Sirona for the purpose of producing ceramic restorations.
The CEREC SpeedFire is suitable for sintering, painting and glazing
ZrO
ceramics and for painting and glazing glass ceramics. Only heat

treatment processes sent as a job to the unit from the Dentsply Sirona
CAD/CAM software may be performed. Heat treatments must be
applied exclusively to the restorations and materials assigned by the
software.
The heat treatment is specified automatically by the CAD/CAM software
and is based on the material and dimensions of the restoration. The
relevant material manufacturer is responsible for the temperature
control and the process times resulting from this. All programs are
validated by the material manufacturers and approved for use in the
CEREC SpeedFire.
This unit must not be used for any other purpose. If the unit is used for
any purpose other than the one mentioned above, it may be damaged.
Intended use also includes compliance with these Operating
Instructions and the relevant maintenance instructions.
CAUTION
Follow the instructions
If the instructions for operating the unit described in this document are
not observed, the intended protection of the user may be impaired.
NOTE
Use of acidic coloring liquids
If acidic coloring liquids are used, the acid may escape during the
sintering process and damage the heating element.
➢ Recommendation: Only use water-based coloring liquids from
Dentsply Sirona.
