Automatic battery check

The camera automatically monitors the available
battery capacity and displays it via the split bat-
tery symbol (3.4) on the rear panel display
(1.34):
• Full battery symbol (

Tips for use of the battery
• Batteries should be stored in a cool dry place.
• New and used batteries, or batteries made by
different manufacturers or of different types
should not be used together.
• If the camera is not going to be used for a long
time, the batteries should be removed.
• Please do not throw used batteries in the nor-
mal waste (they often contain toxic, polluting
substances); instead make sure they are hand-
ed in for proper disposal.
