Holding the camera correctly

For secure, three-point support, hold the camera
with the right hand. The index finger should be
on the shutter release button, with the thumb
behind the quick wind lever. The left hand sup-
ports the lens from underneath. For portrait for-
mat photographs, the camera is simply rotated.
The hands remain in the same position as for
photographs in landscape format, ready to wind
the film on and to focus.
