8.16 Testing the Control Panel Keys and Home Sensors

Run this test if a control panel key or home sensor has malfunctioned.
How to test the control panel keys and the Home Sensors
(1) Turn on the power while pressing the SLOW and ENTER keys.
(2) Press the PAUSE/MENU key at the following menu.
(3) The following menu is displayed, and then press the RIGHT ARROW key (ADJ).
(4) The following menu is displayed.
(5) Press the F1 key (SENSOR & KEY TEST) to display the following menu.
Key Test
While the key is pressed : corresponding key is shown "H" status.
Home Sensor Test
When the sensor dog is cross to the sensor, corresponding sensor status shown "H".
Move the Y bar to the end of left side to cross the X home sensor.
Move the pen block to the end of front side to cross the Y home sensor.
CAUTION: When the plotter is in the Emergency mode, sensor status will not be shown "H".
(6) Turn off the power to exit the TEST mode.
