9.2 Monthly Checks

Check Task
Check the seal on the device cover for
damage.
Check the minimum volume flow
monitoring.
The annual safety check or repair works must be carried out by KEMPER-Service
and not be done by the user themselves.
Note the test badge on the control panel of the filter unit for the next test date.
Maintenance work must only be performed in a well ventilated and designated area
to ensure that no persons not assigned with the task of maintenance can be harmed.
During maintenance work, personal protective equipment must be worn to avoid
contact with dangerous dust.
After the safety test, the test area must be cleaned.
NOTE
Observe the test dates shown on the test badge KEMPER-Service
should be commissioned in good time.

Implementation / measures
Visual check, if necessary replace
the seal.
Fully plug the suction opening on the
suction hood with a cardboard box. After a
short time, the signal horn must be
activated. Should the signal horn not be
activated, a
repair is required Contact KEMPER-
Service
and arrange a repair of the filter unit.
You should use the filter device no further,
because it can be that the volume flow
falls below the minimum volume flow and
is no longer signalled.
