6.2 Operator's controls

At the front of the Filter-Master XL, there are control elements as well as connection
options:

On/off switch (Pos. 1)
On/Off switch for device with emergency stop function.

Acoustic signal generator for filter saturation (Pos. 2)
If the pollution of the filter cartridge continues to grow in spite of cleaning, the
suction power of the device decreases. The flow falls short of the 710 m³/h
required for the reliable detection of welding fumes. An acoustic signal power
brings attention to this state. In such a case, the device should be operated
without taking in welding fumes for about 15 minutes. This makes thorough
cleaning of the filter cartridge possible. If this does not result in a sustained
improvement of the filter performance, please contact KEMPER-Service.
