KEMPER Filter-Master XL Operating Instructions - EN

2.3 Markings and Signs to be affixed by the End-user

The operator is obliged to apply further labels and signs to the Filter-Master XL and
to its environment, if necessary.
Such markings and signs might be related, for example, to the requirement to wear
personal protective equipment.

2.4 Safety Instructions for Operators

The Filter-Master XL may only be operated in perfect technical condition and for
proper, safety-conscious and risk-conscious use under observance of the operating
instructions! All errors, especially those that may affect safety, must be removed
immediately!
Any person tasked with commissioning, operation or maintenance must read these
operating instructions in full and understand them - in particular section 2 Security.
Once they are working on the machine, it is too late. This applies in particular for
personnel who only occasionally work with the Filter-Master XL.
The operating instructions must always be close to the Filter-Master XL.
We accept no liability for any damages or injuries caused by failure to observe these
operating instructions.
The relevant accident prevention regulations and other generally recognized safety
and health rules and regulations are to be complied with.
It is important to lay down and adhere to the responsibility for the different activities in
matters of servicing and maintenance. Only then will human error – especially in
dangerous situations – be avoided.
The end-user is to enforce wearing of personal protective equipment by operating
and maintenance staff. These include in particular safety shoes, safety glasses and
gloves.
Do not wear loose, long hair, loose clothing or jewellery! There is always the danger
of something staying in a hanging position somewhere, or being pulled in or carried
away on moving parts.
If changes appear in the way the Filter-Master XL operates that are relevant to
safety, immediately stop and secure extraction and report the activity to the relevant
office/person!
Works on the Filter-Master XL may only be carried out by reliable, trained personnel.
Observe the minimum legal age!
Personnel who are to be instructed or who are undergoing general training may only
work on the Filter-Master XL under the constant supervision of an experienced
member of staff!
