6.2.2 Secure connection cord

► Secure the connection cord, as shown in figure 
and to the spring travel limiter.

6.2.3 Positioning the prosthetic foot

► Position the prosthetic foot as shown in Fig. 
► NOTICE! To prevent rapid wear, adhere to the tolerance range for exterior rotation and do not
adapt to the exterior rotation of the sound foot.

6.2.4 Mounting the distal adapters

CAUTION
Improper assembly of the screw connections
Fall due to breakage or loosening of the screw connections
Clean the threads before every installation.
Apply the specified installation torque values.
Observe the instructions for securing the screw connections and the use of the correct
length.
► Mount the distal adapters of the prosthetic knee joint on the prosthetic foot (see Fig. 
page 13).

6.2.5 Mounting the prosthetic knee joint

CAUTION
Incorrect mounting on the tube
Falling due to breakage of load-bearing components
Do not use the insertion range of the prosthetic knee joint for length compensation.
► CAUTION! Clean the contact surfaces of the prosthetic knee joint and tube using a degreas­
ing cleaning agent compatible with the material.
► Mount the prosthetic knee joint as shown in Fig. 

6.2.6 Mounting the proximal adapters

► Mount the proximal adapters as shown in Fig. 

6.2.7 Preparing the prosthetic socket for the lock slide

► Prepare the prosthetic socket for mounting the lock slide as shown in Fig. 
note the following points:
Positioning at the optimum height for the patient's hand 
Laying the perlon cable in the prosthetic socket, in a straight line from the prosthetic knee
joint to the lock slide 
Lamination plate secured against rotation in the laminate 
In and out holes for the perlon cable with sufficient spacing from the prosthetic knee joint and
lock slide for reliable lock function 
Plastaband as protection for the thread on the lamination plate while laminating 
Greased perlon cable dummy for making a channel centred in the laminate 

6.2.8 Marking the prosthetic socket

► Mark the prosthetic socket as shown in Fig.
