Establishing electrical connections and level detection connection

Make sure that the control unit is disconnected from the power supply during installation work.
Electric shock hazard caused by unintentional touching (e.g. by children) of unscrewed plug-in
connections. Make sure that all electrical connections – if present – are fastened as shown (tightening
torque).
• Make all connections as described in the instructions enclosed with the control unit.

Initial start-up

Dry running of the wastewater pump(s) for a lengthy period (>30 seconds) must be avoided at all times, it/they
could become damaged. Never switch wastewater pumps on if the system tank is not filled at least to the
minimum level (see technical data - section on useful volumes).

4.8.1 Initialising the control unit

• Connect the control unit to the mains supply, initialisation begins. While the LEDs light up for approx. 4
seconds, the electrical components are checked, the battery for power outage signals is actuated and menu
item 3.10. Language is displayed. Initialisation can then be carried out.
During initialisation, the following input is expected:
– Language
– Date / Time
– Product type
– System variant
– Performance quantity
– Maintenance interval

• Press OK
• Select the required language using the arrow buttons and confirm with OK, the date/time menu item then
appears.

• Set the respective flashing figure in date and time and confirm with OK. Following the last entry, the menu
item Product type
Product type
• Select Aqualift Mono or Duo pumping station and confirm with OK, the menu item
displayed.
