Product description

Variants
The KESSEL pumping stations of the XL series for wet installation
are available in the variants Aqualift F XL and Aqualift S XL. The
Mono and Duo variants are equipped with one or two pumps
respectively. The layout and piping of the two variants is designed
symmetrically in order to make later conversion possible (Mono to
Duo and vice versa).
Aqualift F XL is equipped with a submersible black water pump
unit with chopping mechanism (STZ) and designed for pumping
wastewater containing sewage. When configured accordingly
(pump, level detection and control unit), this system variant fulfils
ATEX requirements.
Die Aqualift S XL ist mit Grauwasser-Tauchpumpeneinheiten
ausgestattet, die entweder mit Freistromrad oder mit Kanalrad
(GTF bzw. GTK) ausgeführt sind. They are designed for wastewater
without sewage.
Design
The pumping station comprises the technical module <1> and
chamber module <2>. The technical module contains the pump(s)
and the level detection. Different chamber modules can be mounted
on the technical module. These two elements together form the
pumping station.
Control
The pumping station starts up automatically through the control in the control unit. For this, the control unit
processes the signals from the wastewater level sensors. This system uses level sensors for level detection as
standard.
Pumping is activated when the defined fill volume has been reached. Pumping is ended after the level has fallen
again by an appropriate amount.
If two wastewater pumps are connected, they are switched on either individually or together, depending on the
fill volume and positioning of the level detection.
The technical specifications for pumps and connections can be found in chapter 7 Technical Data.
