Caution
The control unit should be installed in a frost free,
dry, weather protected area. During storage and
installation of the system, the pump and sensors
should not come in contact with water. In the case
that the area is in a location at risk of flooding, the
control unit should be installed in a secure place to
assure no flood water reaches it. Before installing
the KESSEL Aqualift F Compact lifting station be
sure that no damage occurred during shipping.
2.1 Connections
2.1.1 Side / Lateral inlet connection
The system comes with a DN 100 lateral inlet
connection. The inlet connection to the Aqualift

Caution
If additional inlets are needed, only drill out the
inlet holes on the designated areas. Improperly
drilling any holes into the Aqualift F body could
cause irreparable damage.
Holes should be drilled with care and precision
using the KESSEL core hole drill attachment (Ar-

includes a 5 meter long pressure hose with an
outer diameter of 40 mm and an adapter with
screw connection. A PVC pressure pipe with an
outer diameter of 40mm can also be inserted and
glued into the outlet of the Aqualift F. The outlet
pressure pipe should be laid above the backwa-
ter level (normally defined as ground level) and
then immediately enlarged to a DN 70 ventilated
pipe. Non certified pipe such as HT pipe should
not be used as a pressurized outlet.
In the case that the outlet pressure pipe is to be
laid in the concrete slab it should be de-coupled
with the slab in order to prevent any sound /
vibration from the pipe to be transferred to the
concrete slab as well as prevent any damage to
the connections.
The air pressure hose should be laid with a cons-
tant slope from the Aqualift F to the control unit
in order to allow any condensation water to drain
