Installation

4.1
Soil excavation and placement of the system
Ensure suitability of product (variant) for environmental
conditions (see "Intended use") and installation depth
(see "Product description").
Determine embankment gradient (ca. 60°).
Excavate installation pit. In doing so, ensure that there is
a footing of at least 50 cm around the base.
Compact the installation pit with a 30 cm clean layer(1)
and level out flat.
4.2
Deeper installation
For larger installation depths, the optional extension section
Art. no. 829100 can be used.
Lay seal in the chamber, correctly positioned.
Insert the extension section into the chamber and level
with ground.
4.3
Pipe connections
Connect inlet/ventilation pipe
Determine position for pipe connections. Place pipe con-
nections only on flat surfaces provided.
Select drill with appropriate hole saw (Art. no. 500101).
Carry out drilling in accordance with the hole saw instruc-
tions.
Insert appropriate pipe seals.
Grease inlet/ventilation pipe and slide through the pipe
seals.
Establish pressure connection
Clean bonding surfaces beforehand.
Apply PVC adhesive to the pressure connection
socket.
Slide on adhesive sleeve.
Apply PVC adhesive to the pressure pipe and slide into
the adhesive sleeve.
Observe the usage instructions and drying time for the
adhesive!
