Park Calls on Your Phone

You can park (store) a call so that someone else can pick it up. That way, the caller doesn't have to hang up
and call someone else. After you park the call, tell the other person the call park code to use to retrieve the
parked call.

Park a Call

You can use your phone to park (temporarily store) an active call.
Your phone displays a call park extension, which anyone can use to retrieve the parked call. A call park
extension is a single extension or a number from a range of extensions.
A parked call occupies one line. You can park only one call at a call park extension.
When you park a call, the call park button shows the following states:
• Green or blank: Call park is available.
• Amber or blinking: Call park is partially full.
• Red: Call park is full.
If the call is not retrieved within the two-minute time limit, it is routed to the destination that your administrator
configured for this call park.
Before you begin
You need a call park button on your phone, which your administrator sets up.
When you add features to your phone, some features require a line button. But each line button on your phone
can support only one function (a line, a speed dial, or a feature). If your phone's line buttons are already in
use, your phone won't display any additional features, such as call park.
Your call must be active.
