1 Product description

1.1 Scope of Delivery
1 pc. 3WR95 Aqua Knee
1.2 Function
The Aqua Knee is a knee joint component intended for use within waterproof walking devices and
can be used to walk and stand in wet areas. The upper and lower parts of the joint are made of
aluminium alloy and connected with special axle technology. A small hydraulic unit is integrated
into the joint to control the swing phase. It generates dynamic resistance to movement which op-
timises the gait pattern by preventing excessive swing through during flexion and an excessively
hard strike at the end of the extension phase.
2 Application
Approved for a body weight up to 150 kg.
2.1 Conditions of use
The Aqua Knee is a knee joint component intended for use within waterproof walking devices
and can be used to walk and stand in wet areas. The waterproof walking device is not intended
to replace the initial prosthesis and should only be used in wet areas. It may also not be used for
extreme activities such as extreme sports (water skiing, kite surfing, etc.).
CAUTION
Overheating of the hydraulic unit. A continuous high level of activity can cause the hydraulic
unit to overheat. Please note that burns may result from contact with overheated components.
