This section describes the North American electrical specifications, power cables,
connectors, and extension cords for the VTEC cabinet in a DLm configuration.
The Dell EMC PowerMax Family Site Planning Guide provides further information about
power requirements for PowerMax system and storage cabinets.
The following table summarizes the North American, single-phase, electrical
specifications power requirements specific to a single VTEC cabinet:

Two single-phase drops each for: DLm8500 VTEC cabinet
with up to one fully loaded
NEMA L6-30P, and the Facility power mating receptacle
is L6-30R.
Before delivery, the customer must supply and install the required receptacles to zone
A and zone B power for the DLm cabinets. The following figure shows the required
power cabling for DLm8500 systems:
