Power supply replacement

The power supply unit (PSU) is an internal hardware component which supplies power to the
components in the X400 capacity cube.
The X400 capacity cube supports two 1100 W Mixed Mode HVDC PSUs.
You do not need to shut down the X400 capacity cube to replace a single power supply unit.

AC power supply units (PSUs) have an illuminated translucent handle that serves as an indicator.
The indicator shows whether power is present or a power fault has occurred.
Install the X400 capacity cube

reconstruction is occurring, the integrated storage controller (PERC) card will start disk
reconstruction automatically for the new disk. To check if disk reconstruction is running, do

The Operation State will indicate if reconstruction or a copy-back operation is running.
The Progress field shows the percentage of completion.
CAUTION
Do not force the disk to go Online. This can potentially corrupt the disk array
and result in data loss. Contact Dell EMC Support for assistance.
a. In the PowerProtect Data Manager UI, click the Appliance tab in the left navigation pane.
b. On the Appliance page, in the Capacity Cubes section, click the Details icon next to the
capacity cube you want to bring out of maintenance mode.
The Cube Details page appears.
c. On the Cube Details page, click Bring Out Of Maintenance Mode.
A job is created that can be monitored from the Jobs page. The job takes approximately
five minutes to complete.

Acknowledge.
