2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The product is to be used solely for lower limb prosthetic fittings.
2.2 Area of application
Our components perform optimally when paired with appropriate compon­
ents based upon weight and mobility grades identifiable by our MOBIS clas­
sification information and which have appropriate modular connectors.
The product is recommended for mobility grade 3 (unrestricted
outdoor walker) and mobility grade 4 (unrestricted outdoor walk­
kg
er with particularly high demands).
The table that follows shows the suitable spring stiffness of the prosthetic
foot, matching the patient's body weight and the size of the prosthetic foot.

2.3 Environmental conditions
Allowable environmental conditions
Temperature range: –10 °C to +45 °C (14 °F to 113 °F)
Chemicals/liquids: fresh water, salt water, perspiration, urine, soapsuds, chlorine
water
Moisture: Submersion: max. 1 h in 3 m depth, relative humidity: no restrictions
Solids: Dust, occasional contact with sand
Clean the product after contact with humidity/chemicals/solids, in order to
avoid increased wear and damage (see Page 22).
Unallowable environmental conditions
Solids: Highly hygroscopic particles (e.g. talcum), continuous contact with sand
Chemicals/liquids: Acids, continuous use in liquid media
Storage and transport
Temperature range –20 °C to +60 °C (–4 °F to +140 °F), relative humidity 20 % to
90 %, no mechanical vibrations or impacts
