NetCol5000-C(065, 080) In-row Chilled Water Smart
Cooling Product
User Manual
3.11 (Optional) Leakage Test with Water
Manually open the chilled water valve. Inject water to 0.8 MPa, and preserve the pressure for
24 hours. Then connect a pressure gauge to a needle valve on the pipeline to measure the
pressure. If the reading remains unchanged, the pipe is not leaking. You can perform the
following operations.
3.12 Cable Connections
3.12.1 Overview and Precautions
Precautions
3.12.2 Connecting Power Cables
Prerequisites
Check that the voltage is less than 1 V between wires by using a multimeter before connecting
power cables.
Issue 07 (2020-03-16)
If the leakage test has been done with nitrogen, skip the test with water.
Ensure that the indoor temperature is always above 0° C during the leakage test with water,
otherwise, the pipes may experience frost cracks. If the indoor temperature is below 0° C,
take anti-freezing measures for the pipes.
Connections of all power cables, control cables, and ground cables must comply with the
local electrical code, and the cable specifications should comply with the local cabling
specifications.
For details about the maximum current, see the equipment nameplate.
Ensure that the voltage and frequency of the primary power supply meet the
requirements.
Only trained and qualified personnel are allowed to connect cables.
Before connecting cables, use a multimeter to measure the input voltage and ensure that
the power supply is off.
Ensure that all smart cooling products are safely grounded before powering them on.
Keep cables away from the fan, and so on (if unavoidable, take protective measures), and
ensure that cables are securely connected.
When laying out cables, ensure that the power and signal cables are reliably separated
and that the strong- and weak-current cables are bound separately.
