6.4.4 Replacing the Fan

Prerequisites


Context
Recommended tools: protective gloves, Phillips screwdriver, diagonal pliers, cable tie
Preparation: Maintain from the front door.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Maint > Fan Maintenance on the home screen to locate the SN of the faulty fan, and
tap Power Off.
Step 2 Open the front door, remove cables from the faulty fan, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove
the four screws from the faulty fan, and remove the faulty fan, as shown in

Step 3 Install the new fan in a reverse order of the removal.
Step 4 Connect cables to the new fan and close the front door.
Step 5 Choose Maint > Fan Maintenance on the home screen to locate the SN of the faulty fan, and
tap Power On.
Step 6 Tap Maint > Performance Maint on the home screen and clear the fan runtime.

The fan needs to be replaced.
A spare fan of the same model is available and functional.
