DATA MENU

The following are brief descriptions of features available under the DATA MENU key. There are four
submenus (Serial, Product, Console, and CAN) included in the Data Menu. To access
options under each category, use keys

BOOM SELECT

DESCRIPTION
Enables or disables data logging through serial port. Must have Trigger Value
and unit selected to enable.
Allows user to enter up to a four-digit number to represent a field. Field
reference is included in field begin and field end pages and the data logger
time/date string.
Select between 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200
baud for communicating with GPS receiver.
Enable or disable audible and visual alarm upon a variable rate change.
When ON, alarm sounds 4 long beeps when a rate calibration number is
changed via the serial port using a valid change request data string.
Used in data logging mode. The trigger determines how often data (See data
communication string formats) is sent to the serial port. The trigger may be
either in feet [meter] or seconds. Data Logger functions will not work until
trigger value is nonzero.
Used in data logging mode. The trigger unit is selectable between feet
[meters] or seconds.
Select between Saving Data To Flashcard or Passing Data Through Com
Port.
Select between one or two stop bits for communicating with GPS receiver.
Select between logging GPS and Console Data (Master Switch Pauses Log)
or GPS Data only (Continuous Log).
This feature allows the user to assign specific booms to be used only with
certain products. These products will only be enabled when the assigned
booms are turned on. Note that the system plumbing must accomodate
selections made for this feature. Once entering boom select mode, use the
CE key to toggle between products and keys 1 through 0 to toggle the boom
selection ON or OFF for Booms 1-10 respectively. The boom status display
indicator will show the selected booms for the active product. All booms are
initially selected ON for each product. Press ENTER to exit boom select
mode.
