18.2 SERVICE PLAN

Central unit

Check all screwed joints

Check tightness of electric cable entries into the control centre

Check tightness of connecting hoses in the riser pipe
Trussing, overhang, coupling

Check all screwing on flanges, truss rods, braces, on towers and on overhang

Check tightness of connecting hose at tower couplings.

Lubricate ball joint of tower couplings

Empty sand trap

Booster pump – spinning of shaft between engine and pump – check if pump rotor rotates
freely (if existing)

Check end gun (if existing)
Tower box, transmission device

Check switch cam and adjust if necessary

Check shifting travel of micro switches

Check function of micro switches (operation switch and safety switch)

Check all electric connections for contact

Check tightness of all cable entries into the alignment control

Check tightness of alignment control covers

Lubricate the ball joints at transmission parts

Exact control – Check tension of guiding cables

Visual inspection of span alignment

Check function of switches for intermediate stop, end stop and of programme switch
