15. TROUBLESHOOTING

Should trouble occur, first check wiring connections.
PROBLEMS
When Main SW is
ON, there is no
activation.
Irregular sound
emitted from
inside Rear Cabinet
No sound is emitted.
No sound from
Cockpit.
The Fluorescent
lamp does not
light up.
The image coloring
on the MONITOR
is incorrect.
Operation of
CONTROL WHEEL,
RUDDER PEDAL,
and THRUST LEVER
is not satisfactory.
CIRCUIT PROTECTOR
Functions due to the activation of bimetal. To restore the function, wait approximately one minute
or longer until the bimetal cools off, and press the button.
CAUSE
The power is not on.
Power supply/voltage is incorrect.
AC main fuse causes the power to be
cut off due to momentary overload.
Greasing to gear mesh portion is not
satisfactory, or extraneous matter
mixed in.
Sound Volume adjustment is not
correct.
Sound BD and Amp are
malfunctioning.
In correct Cabinet Type Setting.
The Fluorescent tube is burnt out.
Affected by C.R.T. magnetization.
Incorrect monitor adjustment.
Deviation of Volume.
Volume malfunctioning.
ADJUST GEAR mesh is incorrect.
COUNTERMEASURES
Firmly insert the plug into the outlet.
Make sure that the power supply/voltage
is correct.
Check the fuse. Remove the cause of
overload and replace the fuse.
Apply greasing or eliminate extraneous
matter.
Adjust the SWITCH UNIT's speaker
volume.
Perform SOUND TEST to find and
replace defective parts.
Correct Cabinet Type Setting.
Replace the Fluorescent tube.
Press the DEMAG. SW on the SWITCH
UNIT.
Make appropriate adjustments.
Adjust Volume value in the TEST mode.
Replace the Volume.
Adjust ADJUST GEAR mesh.
