Flight Management
3) Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor and turn the FMS Knob to highlight the flight
plan to be edited.
4) Press the Edit Softkey; or press the MENU Key, select 'Edit Flight Plan' and press the
ENT Key. The 'FPL - Stored Flight Plan' Page is displayed.
5) Highlight and remove the approach:
a) Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the white header of the approach.
b) Press the CLR Key. The 'Remove <procedure name> from flight plan?' window is
displayed.
or:
a) Press the MENU Key to display the 'Page Menu' Window and turn the FMS Knob to
highlight 'Remove Approach'.
b) Press the ENT Key. The 'Remove <procedure name> from flight plan?' window is
displayed.
6) With 'OK' highlighted, press the ENT Key. To cancel the request, press the CLR Key, or
highlight 'Cancel' and press the ENT Key.
7) Press the FMS Knob to remove the flashing cursor.
Missed approach
activating a missed approach in the active flight plan:
Press the Go-Around Button.

2) Turn the FMS Knob to highlight 'Activate Missed Approach'.

Manually setting temperature compensation for approach loaded altitudes:
1) From the 'FPL – Active Flight Plan' Page, press the MENU Key. The 'Page Menu' Window
is displayed.
2) Turn the FMS Knob to highlight 'Temperature Compensation'.
3) Press the ENT Key. The 'Temperature Compensation' Window is displayed with the
temperature highlighted.
4) Use the small FMS Knob to change the
compensated altitude is computed as the temperature is selected.
