Functions and operations

Various mode setup and adjustment of HV-F32SCL are performed by the remote control via CameraLink.
Operation and adjustment way of function utilized are described below.
See "Remote control" (page 14 to 20) and "Command list" (page 21 to 26) about communication method of each command.

9.1 TRIGGER : Setting about external trigger

-MODE- : Selection of mode
OFF (Factory setting）
FIXED SHUTTER
ONE TRIGGER
VD CONTROL
-POLARITY- : Selection of trigger polarity
POSITIVE (Factory setting) : Input polarity HIGH is made into trigger signal.
NEGATIVE
-SOURCE- : Selection of trigger source

9.2 SHUTTER : Setting of electronic shutter

OFF
1/30, 1/60, 1/100, 1/250, 1/1000, 1/2000,
1/10000, 1/50000 second : Set to setting shutter speed (PRESET shutter).
VARIABLE (Factory setting): Set to shutter speed from 10 second to 1/100000 second (VARIABLE shutter).
-VARIABLE VALUE- : Setting speed of VARIABLE shutter.
10 to 1/100000 second
Shutter speed setting value can be derived as follows. (
a) Setting value xyy obtained from exposure time.


b) Exposure time obtained from setting value.

Ex.1 Exposure time = setting value nnn to obtain 1/125 second (= 8000μsecond).

: Trigger mode set to OFF (normal mode).
: Set to Fixed shutter mode.
: Set to ONE trigger mode.
: Set to VD reset mode.
: Input polarity LOW is made into trigger signal.
: Input trigger signal from CameraLink signal CC1 (see page 5 "Connector").
: Input trigger signal from 7 pin of 12 pin DCIN/SYNC connector.
: Shutter operation set to OFF (normal shutter).
: Electronic shutter can be set in the range of 10 to 1/100,000 second in 1536 steps
(Factory setting is 1/30)

