Color, State Meaning
Green, Steady The management port is operating at 100 Mbps.
Off The management port is operating at 10 Mbps.
Green The number of lit LEDs indicates the utilization
level (full-duplex operation) of the switch fabric
as follows:
1 LED = 10 Mbps
2 LEDs =100 Mbps
3 LEDs = 1 Gbps
4 LEDs = 5 Gbps
Green The number of lit LEDs indicates the level
(full-duplex operation) of CPU activity as follows:
1 LED = 12%
2 LEDs = 24%
3 LEDs = 36%
4 LEDs = 48%
Green, Steady The specified power supply is operating
normally.
Amber, Steady The specified power supply failed.
Off A power supply is not present in the specified
bay, or the power supply in the specified bay is
not turned on.
Green, Steady The specified fan is operating normally.
The specified fan is present in the chassis and
Amber, Steady
failed, or no fan is present in the chassis and
should be present.
Off The specified fan is not present in the chassis
(and should not be present).
Green, Steady The temperature is normal for switch operation.
Amber, Steady The maximum operating temperature is
exceeded.
