Nortel-qualified SFPs, XFPs, and GBICs
Nortel qualified the GBICs listed in the following table for use in Ethernet
Routing Switch 8600 interface modules. Only GBICs qualified by Nortel
are supported for use in Ethernet Routing Switch 8600 modules. GBICs
not qualified by Nortel can operate within the module, but are not tested for
power draw, electromagnetic interference, or interoperability.
