E. Sample Preparation
Immediate Mode
Running samples using Immediate Mode.
Step 1
From XTRX500 home/start up screen select "Run" by pushing
down on the rotary encoder button.
Immediate Mode screen
Pouch: Two extraction pouch sizes available; 100 mL and 500
mL. The barcode reader automatically detects which size
extraction pouch is loaded.
Step 2
Crusher: The XTRX500 can be used with the crusher ON or
OFF. These options are selected with the rotary encoder
switch/dial.
