Step 8 – Once the solvent lifter tool is fitted correctly, it is
screwed in until the solution level is at the top of the extraction
pouch, care should be taken not to raise the solution level too
far and avoid spills.
NOTE: Samples may be taken from the pouch using the solvent
lifter tool (accessory) and syringe or the long sampling
cannula and syringe (provided).
NOTE: Once the test is complete and the pouch removed from
the cassette the pouch can be hooked onto the pouch stand
with hooks (provided). Note that not more than 2000 mL should
be put on the pouch stand at one time using the small ring only.
