2 DPH
Unscrew the locknut (1) and remove the propeller
cone (2) and the aft propeller (3).
DPR
Unscrew the locknut (1) and remove the aft propeller
(3).
3 Unscrew the large locknut (4) with the aid of the
special tool supplied. Remove the forward propeller
(5).
4 Wipe dry and clean the propeller shaft.
Installation
5 The propeller shaft must be locked according to
items 1a or 1b once the forward propeller (5) is
installed.
Brush Volvo Penta propeller shaft grease # 828250
onto the entire propeller shaft and the inside of the
propeller hub.
Install the forward propeller (5) and nut (4). Tighten
the nut using the special tool supplied to 200 Nm
(150 lbf.ft).
6 DPH
Install the forward propeller (3), propeller cone (2)
and nut (1). Tighten the nut using a 30 mm (1.18")
socket to 100 Nm (75 lbf.ft).
DPR
Install the aft propeller (3) and nut (1). Tighten the
nut using a 30 mm (1.18") socket to 100 Nm (75–110
lbf.ft).
