6.12. CLEANING THE CHAIN GUIDE
1.
Set the battery switch to "0" and disconnect the con-
nector.
2.
Remove the chain guide (7) and the chain (6) (refer
to Section 6.3, "Replacing the chain and the chain
guide").
3.
Clean the groove, grease holes and the oblong hole
of the chain guide.
4.
Reassemble the chain guide and the chain.
Important
Repeat daily and with each site change to disinfect
the tool to a minimum.
Clean the lubricating holes as often as necessary.
6.13. CLEANING
Keep the tool clean by cleaning it frequently using a damp
cloth and compressed air. Pay particular attention to the
parts in contact with the wood (chain, guide).
Note
Consumables sold separately.
Important
Never use solvents ( trichloroethylene, white
spirit, petrol, etc.) to clean the tool.
