8. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

8.1. CHAIN PROTECTION

• Put on the chain protector (18) during transport and
storage.
• Always clean the tool before storing it.
• Make sure the chain is sharp before storing the tool.
• Always store the tool with its chain guide greased.
• Empty the oil reservoir before storing the tool.
Warning
Never carry the Chainsaw without
its protection. The chainsaw must al-
ways have its protective cover on
when moved.
