    • The Chainsaw Selion M12 must be used at ground level or from a suitable platform that is completely stable and secure. • When is use the Chainsaw Selion M12 should be held in both hands, right hand on the trigger handle and left hand on the top handle.

THE ANTI-KICKBACK CHAIN GUIDE The anti-kickback chain guide can be used for: • regular trimming • restructuring orchards to allow passage between two rows of trees. 4.1.1.2. THE CARVING CHAIN GUIDE The carving chain guide has a very narrow profile that allows for easier access to difficult areas, while incurring very little kickback.

PRECISION CHAIN GUIDE The precision chain guide, like the carving chain guide, has a very narrow profile and has the same advantages. The reduced thickness of the precision guide ensures a cleaner cut and a reduction in energy consumption.
  • Page 17 CHAINSAW SELION M12 51_149238-A Tighten the chain guard lock nut (8) correctly using the telescopic wrench (11), the chain guide (7) then moves forward and automatically tensions the chain (6). Re- position the handle of the telescopic wrench (11) on its holding magnet.

    CHAINSAW SELION M12 51_149238-A 5. USAGE 5.1. USAGE SITUATION Do not use the chainsaw to prune trees one-handed when in an unstable work position. It is preferable to use a hand saw when cutting small diameter wood at the ends of branches.

    Always start the motor before bringing the chainsaw into contact with the wood. Remove the chain guide protector. Set the Pellenc tool battery On/Off switch to the On position “I”. From the moment the indicator light (12) comes on, the tool is energized and ready to operate.

    The forced lubrication cycle distributes the oil from the reservoir to the different components. It is imperative to carry out this forced lubrication cycle before first use of the Chainsaw Selion M12. Press and hold the triggers (2) and (3). Set the battery switch to “1”.
