5. USING THE TOOL
5.1. HOLDING THE TOOL
1.
Electrically connect the battery to your tool. Refer to the table Section 3.2.3, "Chargers and batteries compat-
ibility"

Take the chainsaw by the handles and ensure nothing is touching the chain.

The Chainsaw is in 'start' position.
Warning
Do not cut anything other than wood.
Always keep both hands on the handles.
Never disconnect the power cord from the battery without checking that the On / Off switch
is in the off position «0».
5.2. START-UP

Remove the chain guide protector.
2.
Set the Pellenc tool battery On/Off switch to the On
position "I".
From the moment the indicator light (15) comes on
and the battery emits 3 beeps, the tool is energized
and ready to operate.
3.
Press and hold the safety trigger (3) while holding
the chainsaw by the upper handle.
4.
3- In order to ensure the Chainsaw is safe when be-
ing moved, an electronic device blocks control of the
motor 3 seconds after it stops.
Press the trigger (2) twice consecutively to restart
the motor.
The Chainsaw continues to turn as long as the trig-
ger (2) is maintained pressed.
5.
Release the trigger (2) to stop the motor.
Note
The light (15) on the handle indicates that the tool is powered on.
Warning
When either the guide or the chain is replaced, they must be run in by operating the tool
without sawing for 1 to 2 minutes.
Check the chain tension after running in (see Section 6.4, "Automatic chain tension").
