Disposing of Discharged Fluid

If the Discharged Fluid Disposal Message Appears

The message shown below appears when a certain amount of discharged fluid has collected in the
bottle. If this message appears, dispose of the discharged fluid.

Procedure
When the following message appears, press [ENTER].

Open the panel cover.

Remove the screw on the top of the panel cover, tilt the panel cover forward slightly, and then
pull out the panel cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Remove the drain bottle and discard the discharged fluid.

I M P O R TA N T
When you remove the drain bottle, a few drops of discharged fluid may come out of the machine.
Exercise caution to prevent this fluid from soiling your hands.
1 Push down on the opening of the drain bottle.
2 While pushing down on the opening, slide the bottle to the front, ensuring that
the bottle stays on the bottom plate.
Tilting the drain bottle too much to the point that it comes free of the bottom plate may
lead to discharged fluid spilling out.
3 Detach the drain bottle.
