Ancillary Equipment

The following equipment is required to complete installation:
 When functioning as a reader:
Compatible host controller (not supplied) – UL listed access control unit
(for example, AC-225)
 When functioning as a controller:
Secured intelligent power supply (such as the PS-A25T, PS-C25T or
PS-C25TU)
This unit connects to the following:
Electric lock output mechanism or a magnetic lock device, which

implements fail safe (power to lock) or fail secure (power to open)
functions
 Request-to-Exit (REX) button – Normally open type
Switch is closed when pressed
 General input switch (for example, door monitor contact)
Auxiliary output

