5.8.1

Entering Programming Mode

The factory default programming code is 1234.
If a programming code is not entered within 60 seconds, the AYC-W6500
returns to Transmit mode
To enter Programming mode:
Press # twice.
1.
The Status LED flashes orange.
2.
Enter your programming code.
If the programming code is valid, the Status LED turns
orange.
The AYC-W6500 is now in Programming mode.

Exiting Programming Mode

To ex it Programming mode:
1.
Press # twice.
The unit sounds three short beeps.
The Status LED turns red.
The AYC-W6500 has now returned to Normal Access mode.
5.8.3

Changing the Lock Test Code (Testcode1)

The Lock Test code is an override code that opens the Lock output. It is
intended for use during the initial installation of the unit.
When the first user is enrolled into the controller, the default Test code is
automatically deleted. If the code is programmed again, it is not deleted with
the entry of additional user codes.
