Description
Audio jack board (includes audio-out (headphone)/audio-in (microphone) combo jack; does not include
cable; the audio jack board cable is available using spare part number L95621-001)
Before removing the audio jack board, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the audio jack board:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the audio jack board cable is connected, and then disconnect
the audio jack board cable from the system board.
2. Detach the audio jack board cable (2) from the top cover. (The audio jack board cable is attached to
the top cover with double-sided adhesive.)
3. Remove the Phillips M2.0×3.0 screw (3) that secures the audio jack board to the top cover.
4. Remove the audio jack board (4) and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the audio jack board and cable.
