A thermal pad is used on the processor (1). Residue from this pad may appear on the surface of the heat sink (2)
that services it. A variety of thermal pads are also used on other system board components (3). Residue from
these pads may appear on the surfaces of the heat sink (4) that service them. Replacement thermal material is
included with the heat sink and system board spare part kits.
NOTE: The following image shows the replacement thermal material locations on a computer model equipped
with an Intel Core i7-10750H processor.
NOTE: The following image shows the replacement thermal material locations on a computer model equipped
with an Intel Core i7-10510U processor.
Reverse this procedure to install the heat sink.
