Volatile Sampling Mode

This mode is designed for samples dissolved in highly volatile solvents
such as pentane.
The number of pre-injection solvent clean flushes specified in the
method will be performed by drawing a full syringe of solvent from
the specified clean vial and expelling it into the waste cup.
The number of pre-injection sample clean flushes specified in the
method will be performed by drawing a full syringe of sample from
the specified sample vial at 1 µL/sec, waiting 6 sec with the needle in
the sample, and expelling it into the waste cup at 50 µL/sec.
If an Internal Standard is used, the Internal Standard will be
withdrawn from the specified source vial at this point – the air gap will
be set now if specified.
The volume of sample specified in the Single Method or Method
Sequence Automation will be withdrawn from the specified sample
vial at 1 µL/sec.
The system will pause 6 sec, and the sample will be injected into the
specified injector at a rate of 1 µL/sec.
The post injection clean flushes will be executed.
