1. From the power source, turn off power to the failed PDU.
2. Using a utility knife, remove the nylon ties holding the PDU in place.
3. Disconnect the power cables from the PDU.
4. Disconnect the network cables from the PDU.
5. Remove the screws that attach the PDU to the rack.
6. Pull the power cord and plug out of the top of the rack.
Note: If the power source is located below the rack, you can pull the power cord
out from the bottom of the rack.
7. Slide the PDU up and away from the PDU mounting bracket.

8. Place the failed PDU in a safe place away from the system.
