8.6.2.2 Connecting to the PDU with an Ethernet port
The PDU is also equipped with an RJ45 10/100Base-T Ethernet port. Use this connection to access the
PDU firmware CLI with Telnet.
The PDU Ethernet port uses the following default settings:
• IP Address: 192.168.1.254
• Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
• Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Configure a PC Ethernet port with a static IP address in the range 192.168.1.2-253 to enable
communication with the PDU Ethernet port.
Use the PDU IP address when initiating the Telnet session:
telnet 192.168.1.254
8.6.2.3 Logging into the PDU Firmware CLI
After connecting to the PDU firmware CLI, use the following credentials to log in:
• Username:
admn
• Password:
admn
After logging in, input the relevant commands for your PDU.
