Moving the Accessory

WARNING
Heavy Weight – Danger to Hands and Feet
When packed, the GTA weighs up to 87 kg (192 lb). To avoid injury to
personnel, or accidental damage to equipment, do not attempt to lift the
package alone.

Installing the Control Unit

The control unit should have already been set up by an Agilent Field
Service Representative. If you wish to move the GTA you will need to
disconnect the control unit's mains power cable, gas hose(s) and
water hoses from their respective supplies.
To install the control unit you must:

Non-Zeeman GTA

Before installation, the GTA 120 furnace will be kept in the storage
location on the control unit.
To remove the GTA 120 furnace from its storage cradle and install
it in the sample compartment:

Plug the mains power cable into the mains power supply.
Connect the gas and water supplies as described in the previous
chapter.
Ensure that both the spectrometer and GTA control unit are
switched off and that the spraychamber, etc. have been removed
and safely stowed.
