The screen for activating and parameterizing the DAC outputs can be reached
from the basic machine display via softkeys Start-up /
Drive/servo / DAC config.
The configuration is activated with Start. Active DACs are identified (active/inac-
tive) on the left of the screen. The output is terminated with Stop (active/inac-
tive) .
The selected signals are active after POWER ON.
The DAC operates on a voltage of between 0 V and +5 V. In this case, the 2.5 V
output voltage corresponds to the zero of the displayed signal. A two's comple-
ment is used in the digital/analog conversion, see Fig. 5-3.
