Configuring with AMM

AirLink Mobility Manager (AMM) is a Network Management solution that provides a
consolidated view of the entire vehicle fleet and enables simplified management, control
and monitoring of connected AirLink routers. AMM is a licensed, unified software platform
deployed in the enterprise data center. It enables:

Configuring with AT Commands

You can also configure GX450 gateways using AT commands over the RS-232 serial port
or the USB port (configured as a virtual serial port). All the commands are listed in the
ALEOS Software Configuration User Guide.
In ACEmanager, mouse over a red AT to the left of a listing to see a popup showing the AT
command for that item.

Reset to Factory Default Settings

To reset the gateway to the factory default settings, either:

Recovery Mode

If the gateway fails to boot properly, it automatically enters recovery mode, or, if the
gateway is unresponsive to ACEmanager input and AT commands, you can manually put
the gateway into Recovery mode.

Most AT commands are prefaced with AT. Exceptions are noted in the ALEOS
Software Configuration User Guide.
The acceptable format and parameters are listed with each command in the ALEOS
Software Configuration User Guide.
If you enter a recognized AT command, the GX450 gateway responds with "OK." If
the command is wrong, the gateway responds with "ERROR" or "Unsupported."
Press and hold the Reset button until all the LEDs turn red (about 7–10 seconds).

In ACEmanager, go to Admin > Advanced and click the Reset to Factory Default
button. For details, refer to the ALEOS Software Configuration User Guide.
The gateway reboots. Once the reboot is complete and the LEDs resume their normal
operating behavior, the reset is complete.
