Step 2 Remove the optical fibers on the optical module.
Mark the positions of the Tx and Rx optical fibers on the bores of the optical module, and
then remove the optical fibers.
Step 3 Cover the removed optical fibers with dust caps.
Step 4 Remove the optical module.

Rotate the handle of the optical module down.
2.
Pull the handle of the optical module and press the router panel with your thumb to
remove the optical module.
Step 5 Insert a new optical module into the optical interface until the optical module is secured in the
optical interface.
Step 6 Connect the Tx and Rx optical fibers to the marked positions.
Step 7 Check the LINK indicator on the optical interface. If the LINK indicator turns green, the new
optical module works normally.
