Hardware Installation and Maintenance Guide
Make sure the following before the installation:
l The cabinet is well fixed.
l The router installation position in the cabinet is determined and arranged properly.
l The router to be installed is available and located near the cabinet for convenient
movement.
NOTE
The procedures and methods for installing AR2204, AR2220E, and AR2204E series routers into a
cabinet are the same. The following procedure installs an AR2204 router into cabinet.
Tools and Accessories
l Phillips screwdriver
l Flat-head screwdriver
l Floating nuts
l Mounting brackets
l Mounting bracket guide rails
l
M4 screws
l M6 screws
Procedure
Step 1 Use a Phillips screwdriver to fix the mounting brackets to both sides of the router with M4
screws.
NOTE
The mounting brackets can be installed on both sides close to the front panel or rear panel.
