NOTE:
LAMP HOUSEs and POWER UNIT HOLDER before detaching the ENGINE assembly.
the ass'y unit even when it stays on the BOTTOM CASE, but it is necessary to detach the ass'y
unit before replacing the SHUTTER UNIT.
Disassembling
1. Remove 4 screws on the power unit mesh, and detach it.
2. Disconnect the cables connecting the ENGINE
assembly and the other blocks. The cables and their
connectors to be disconnected are as below;
- CNPEL, CN3 of POWER UNIT COOLING
- LAMP1 UP FAN cable, ED08 of DC RELAY PCB
- CWC MOTOR cable, ED06 of DC RELAY PCB
- CNBL1, E601 of DMD PCB (ENGINE assembly)
- CNBL2, E602 of DMD PCB (ENGINE assembly
NOTE:
If the detached ENGINE assembly is going to be re-used, the cables left on the ass'y unit should
3. Remove 7 screws, and lift the ass'y unit with holding its base ("proleg" part).
Assembling
1. Check if the wiring is well prepared to avoid pinching.
2. Put the ENGINE assembly into place as before, and tighten the screws in numerical order shown
in the drawing.
3. Release the temporary tacking, and connect and wire the cables as before.
4. Sc w down the power unit mesh.
torque: 0.68~0.88N·m
