4 Set the optical attenuator to:
ATTEN 15 dB
WAVELENGTH 1310 nm (or 1550 nm depending on
wavelength used)
CAL=0
ENB ON
Set the optical power meter to:
WAVELENGTH 1310 nm (or 1550 nm depending on
wavelength used)
Connect the optical attenuator between the power meter and
the OmniBER OTN's Optical Out port (ensure that all
connections are tight and that the cable has no twists).
