Error List

This appendix provides a hint list for detecting erroneous system configurations and any
untoward or unusual behavior of the PrAMC-7311. It cannot replace a serious and
sophisticated pre- and post-sales support during application development.
If it is not possible to fix a problem using the Error List provided, contact your local sales
representative or FAE for further support.

Mechanics

Problem
Unable to insert
module into carrier
card
PrAMC-7311 Installation and Use (6806800P34F)
Possible Reason
PCB not sliding fully into guide
rails.
Unable to push module handle
inward.
Appendix A
Solution
Ensure that there is no mechanical
damage on the module and/or carrier.
Check for obstructions on guide rails.
Make sure that the module is being
inserted into a B/B+ connector or into the
upper (B) layer of a AB/A+B+ connector.
Try inserting the module into a different
bay or a different carrier, to check if it is
a problem with the target bay alone.
Remove the module and slide the
handle back and forth. If the handle
motion is hampered or is not smooth, the
handle may be damaged.
