PRIMUS 1000 Integrated Avionics System
MAIN MENU
The main menu, shown in Figure 3–5, is the MFD power–up menu.
Pilots can select either the VNAV or VSPEED submenu, control the
display of EGPWS terrain (TERR), and/or select FMS1 or FMS2 for
display. If EGPWS is not installed, TERR is not displayed on the menu.
If the aircraft has only one flight management system, FMS1 and FMS2
are not displayed.
VNAV (VERTICAL NAVIGATION) SUBMENU
The VNAV submenu, shown in Figure 3–6, lets the crew select either
coupled FMS VNAV, coupled singlepoint (SNGP) VNAV, or return
(RTN) to the MAIN MENU.
NOTE: SNGP VNAV is disabled in the Encore. VNAV is not displayed
on the MAIN MENU and FMS VNAV is assumed.
